Don’t get me wrong I adore angsty fics where Enjolras was a bit of a dick to R and has to get his crap together, HOWEVER

Give me the enjolras who never puts less than 100% effort into the things he cares about, who stayed up till morning hours for a week before valentines, googling ideas, bugging Courf for help and texting R at 3 am to ask if he prefers cookies or cupcakes.

Enj who sees R walk into a meeting and lights up, walks over, kisses his cheek and reminds him that he’s loved.

Enj who makes sure that his schedule is clear on the days of Grantaires galleries and is never late for date nights.

Enj who always stops at a store and picks up a flower or small bouquet for the vase on their dining table.

Just,,, I love the awkward lovely Enjolras who gives his all to anything he’s passionate about, and Grantaire is certainly one of those things
